They needed a space that meets the needs of their ever-expanding group and encourage others to join as well. They started their own gym because their group started outgrowing Rodrigue’s garage. “When you put out the call to this group of people, they’ll give you the shirt off their back,” Rodrigue said about this friends, with whom he now co-owns and operates CrossFit Crab Trap. Word spread of the CrossFit workouts they held there, and soon they built a little community of people whose friendship extended beyond the gym.
